Loris Games develops board games and card games. Our mission is to create innovative high quality products for both geeks and mainstream players as well as for educators at schools.
Already in 2006 members of our team developed and published Dorn, a tactical fantasy RPG boardgame classic.
In 2010 and 2011 we as authors developed the Ekopolis and Multipolis boardgames for Scio company as part of EU projects supporting environmental and multicultural education.
In 2012 we published and sold out Numerix, a very successful boardgame aimed at practicing basic arithmetic.
In the same year came out the Extreme Memo Game Lilanga with pictures by the famous African painter.
In the year 2013 we introduced Malacca, a fast-paced card game with pirate theme. Regular tournaments in Malacca are being organized every year since then.
You can learn the basics of economics in the game Oeconomica, which we published in cooperation with the Institute of economic studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University and Scio company.
In 2015 we launched crowdfunding for the game Ypsilonie, which revolutionizes the way kids learn difficult grammar. The crowdfunding was successful and the game turned out great. Now it is out of stock and reprint will be out shortly.
Our project for 2016 is called LOGORELO – it is a simple card came, in which children practice pronunciation of difficult consonants L, R and Ř.
We are also working on the Assassins: Firenze project, which will be a turn-based RPG boardgame set in Florence.
